Introducing Send, the easiest way to send cash (and Eco Points)

From day one, Eco’s promise was to become one simple balance to manage your entire financial life.

With the launch of our new feature, Send, in the Eco app, we’re closer to that reality.

With Send, you can now send cash* and Eco Points directly to other Eco users. The best part? There are no fees or wait time for cash or Points to transfer.

Even better: you’ll also earn Eco Points for sending cash!

Most popular apps for sending and receiving money make you wait multiple days for funds you withdraw to hit your bank account—or, if they’re built into your bank, feature a not-so-great user experience. But it doesn’t have to be that way!

With our new Send feature, your money is immediately available and already earning Eco’s market-leading APY rewards. No need to wait days to withdraw, and no need to deal with the painful interfaces of bank payment features.

You should also note that you can now upload a profile picture to help your friends and family easily identify you. Learn how to add a profile picture here.

How to Send

Tap Send from your main menu.

From there, you can tap on the search box, a recent friend you’ve sent to or received from, or the “Start a transaction” button. Search for your friend via their username, email, or phone number.

Choose to Send either cash or Eco Points.

Enter the reason for Sending and tap “Review & Send.”

Review all of the details of the transaction before Sending. Once submitted, all transfers are final.

Tap Send. Your Send transactions will be saved in your History.

*Eco is powered by USDC. So while we may use the "$" symbol and words like "cash" for ease of reference, balances are always in USDC.
